Product details

A replacement for the rear lower engine mount (the torque rod) on the 2.5 turbo (G4KP) Sonata N Line and K5 GT with the 8-speed DCT.

  • 6061 billet aluminium body, black anodised
  • 75A polyurethane bushes in place of the soft factory rubber
  • Grade 10.9 zinc hardware included (M12 bolt, washers, Nyloc nut)

What it changes: it stops the engine rocking back under load and on/off throttle, so less wheel hop and a cleaner launch. The trade is more vibration in the cabin, mostly at idle - owners call it mild, but it is not as quiet as the factory mount. Good value on a tuned car that struggles for front-end traction.

Fits: Hyundai Sonata N Line (DN8) 2021+ and Kia K5 GT (DL3) 2021+, DCT. Not listed for the 1.6T K5 or the non-turbo Sonata.
