Product details
Short ram intake for the LF Sonata with the 1.6 T-GDi. A mandrel-bent aluminium tube and a heat shield replace the factory airbox, with a dry filter that washes rather than re-oils.
- Mandrel-bent aluminium tube, black powder-coat
- Heat shield to keep the filter out of radiant heat
- Dry, washable filter - no oil near the MAF
- Bolt-in, uses the factory mounting points
The 1.6T is a small, mild-boost engine and the factory airbox is not badly restrictive, so expect a modest gain and a clearer turbo note rather than a step change. Worth doing if the car is already tuned; not worth doing on its own.
