Product details
Billet 6061-T6 aluminium throttle body spacer for the YF-generation Sonata 2.0 turbo (the i45 body in Australia), hard anodised in silver, red, black or blue.
- Two tapped 1/8in NPT ports downstream of the throttle plate - a clean tapping point for a boost / vacuum reference, a gauge line or water-methanol injection
- Supplied with an O-ring seal, four extended bolts and washers
- 2.0 turbo only - it does not fit the 2.4 GDi
Fitment: Torque Solution's fitment data covers the 2011-2014 Sonata YF 2.0T and the 2015 Sonata LF 2.0T (Limited and Sport). Later LF 2.0T cars use the same engine and, per Hyundai's parts catalogue, the same throttle body family, but the manufacturer does not confirm them. Australia's i45 was sold with the 2.4 only, so this suits an imported 2.0T.
Torque Solution claims power and economy gains; we don't quote a figure. On a tuned car its real job is the ports: a proper place to take boost reference or feed water-meth without drilling the manifold or teeing into a vacuum line.
