Product details
Progressive-rate lowering springs for the Czech-built i30 hatch, European type FDH, March 2009 to February 2012. They drop the car about 35mm at the front and 25mm at the rear, on the factory dampers.
Cold-coiled chrome-silicon wire, shot peened and powder coated. Sold as a set of four. AST rates each set to the engine's weight, so choose petrol (1.4, 1.6, 2.0) or diesel (1.6 or 2.0 CRDi).
Check the build before you order. AST says these do not fit type FD, the Korean-built i30 sold new in Australia. A Czech-built car's VIN starts TMA; a Korean one starts KMH. They do not fit the i30cw wagon either.
You get a lower stance and less body roll. On tired original dampers, the dampers set the limit. Get a wheel alignment after fitting.
