Product details
Momentum replaces the factory airbox with a sealed housing and a large conical filter, fed by the standard cold-air duct. Pro DRY S media - dry synthetic, washable, no oiling step and nothing that can contaminate the MAF.
On a standard i30 N the gain is small and sits at the top of the rev range. The honest reasons to fit one are induction noise, the turbo and blow-off becoming audible, and a filter you never buy again. On a Stage 2 car running more boost the standard airbox does start to limit and this is a sensible first fix.
The sealed housing matters - an exposed filter under this bonnet heat-soaks badly in traffic.
