Direct shipped from our US warehouse
What Is Direct Shipping?
This part ships straight to you from our US warehouse rather than sitting on our shelf in Clyde. You get a wider range and current pricing — the trade-off is that it takes a little longer to arrive than something we stock locally.
-
You Order
Check out as normal and you will get an order confirmation straight away.
-
We Place The Order
We order the part the same business day and it is picked from our US warehouse, brand new and factory sealed.
-
It Ships To You
It flies direct to your door by courier — it does not route through our workshop. You get the tracking number as soon as it leaves.
-
It Arrives
If you ordered anything we stock locally, that ships separately from Clyde — so an order can arrive in more than one delivery.
Delivery Time
Our supplier quotes 2–4 weeks from order to delivery.
No Import Fees
This part ships to you from inside the United States, so there is no customs clearance, no import duty and no brokerage fee.
Any applicable sales tax is calculated at checkout.
Product details
A clutch-type rear limited-slip diff for the 2010-16 Genesis Coupe, 2.0T and 3.8 V6, all trims. It replaces the factory diff carrier; your ring gear transfers across.
- Type-RS: precision springs between the pressure rings hold initial torque to roughly 50-70% of a cone-plate LSD (Cusco's figure), so it locks smoothly with less chatter than the Type-MZ.
- Dual-profile pressure ring: each unit can be switched to the second setting in its name at a rebuild, no extra parts.
- 1.5-Way suits grip and road-course driving. 2-Way locks on and off throttle for drifting. 1-Way runs open off throttle.
Worth it on an open-diff car, or for drift and track use. On a Track or R-Spec with the factory Torsen that mostly sees the street, the gain is small. Needs a diff shop to set up, LSD gear oil and periodic rebuilds.
Good to know
No claims are made regarding the legality of any parts for road use. Parts are supplied for off-road/competition use only — it is the customer's responsibility to confirm local regulations before fitting parts for road use.
