Product details
The BK Genesis Coupe leaves the factory with soft rubber in the shifter linkage. It flexes before the gear engages, and that flex is where the vague, rubbery shift feel comes from. These are polyurethane replacements for the cable ends and for the rear shifter base.
- Polyurethane, direct replacement for the factory rubber
- Cable-end bushings, rear base bushing, or both as a combo
- Console-out job - the transmission stays where it is
Expect a tighter gate and far less slop between gears. It does not shorten the throw - that is the short shifter's job. Slightly notchier at low speed and a little more drivetrain noise into the cabin is normal, and that is the trade for the precision.
Check your build year: the cable bushings changed for 2011.
