Product details

SPEC billet steel single-mass flywheel for the 2012 model-year 3.8 V6 manual built from January 2012. SPEC lists it for that one build window, and it weighs 26 lb (11.8 kg). It pairs with SPEC's SY83-series clutch kits.

  • Billet steel, rebuildable with a replaceable friction face
  • Steel keeps more inertia than aluminium, so it is easier to drive in traffic and launches more consistently

Check the build date on the driver's door-jamb plate before ordering. A 2013-2016 GDi car needs SY83S-4 instead, and cars built before January 2012 use SPEC's earlier SY38-series parts. Not for the 2.0T.
