Product details
Thermostatic engine oil cooler kit for the 2010-2012 Genesis Coupe (BK) 3.8 V6. A 19-row stacked-plate aluminium cooler mounts in the front grille area on model-specific brackets, fed by pre-assembled stainless braided -10AN lines.
- CNC-machined aluminium oil filter housing replaces the factory housing so the sandwich plate and a conventional spin-on filter can be used.
- Thermostatic sandwich plate bypasses the cooler until the oil is warm, so it does not overcool on the street.
- Adds about 0.75 qt (0.7 L) of oil capacity; Mishimoto measured a 37°F (about 20°C) drop in oil temperature.
- Choose a silver or black cooler.
Fitment: 2010-2012 3.8 V6 only. Not listed for the 2013-on facelift with the direct-injected 3.8, and not for the 2.0T. Worth it for track days and hot climates; a road-only car rarely needs it.
