Product details
Takeda Momentum replaces the Elantra's factory airbox with a sealed rotomoulded housing and a large conical filter, fed from the existing cold-air duct behind the bumper.
- Sealed housing keeps hot engine bay air out of the inlet tract
- Pro DRY S synthetic media - no filter oil to migrate onto the MAF sensor, washable
- Bolt-in to the 2.0L Nu four, retains the factory MAF and needs no tune
Be realistic about the gain. On a naturally aspirated 2.0 the standard airbox is not a serious restriction, so this is worth a few kilowatts high in the rev range and a harder induction note. Buy it for the sound and for never buying a paper element again, not for the dyno sheet.
