Product details
A full valve spring set for the Theta II 2.0T (G4KF): 16 dual springs, 16 titanium retainers and 16 seat locators. Chrome-silicon-vanadium springs, CNC-machined titanium retainers. The factory seal-seats are reused.
- 75lb (SPRK-HY1015-2): 75lb seat pressure at 35.3mm installed, 14.5mm max lift
- 85lb (SPRK-HY1015-3): 85lb at 34.5mm, 13.8mm max lift
- Both 12.1lb/mm rate, 20.7mm coil bind
Springs add no power. They stop valve float, and boost pushing the exhaust valves open, once you add cams, rpm or big boost. On a stock-turbo car they are not worth the labour.
Fits the Genesis Coupe 2.0T, 2010-2014. Supertech lists it for the G4KF only, not the G4KH in the i30 N, Veloster N, Elantra N (i30 Sedan N), Kona N or Sonata/Optima 2.0T.
