Product details
ST's X coilover kit for the 2011-2015 Kia Optima (TF). The dampers are built by KW in Germany; the X kit is ST's simplest, with ride height adjustable and damping fixed at a setting matched to the springs.
- Front: galvanised steel coilover struts with a threaded composite spring perch
- Rear: height-adjustable springs plus separate dampers
- Lowering range (ST data): 20-50mm front and rear
- Covers the 2.4 GDi and the 2.0 turbo, front-wheel drive
It takes the float out of the Optima's soft factory setup and closes up the wheel-arch gap. There is no damping adjustment, so it suits a road car rather than a track car. Not for the Optima Hybrid or the later JF Optima.
