Product details
Engine oil cooler kit for the 2010-2012 Genesis Coupe (BK) 2.0T. A 19-row stacked-plate aluminium cooler (11 x 5.43 x 1.97 in core) mounts behind the front bumper on model-specific brackets, plumbed with stainless braided -10AN lines through an M20 sandwich plate at the oil filter.
- Standard (black cooler): oil flows through the cooler all the time.
- Thermostatic (silver or black): adds a thermostatic sandwich plate that bypasses the cooler until the oil is warm - the better choice for a car that also does short trips and cold starts.
- Mishimoto quotes about a 20°F (11°C) drop in oil temperature. Bolt-on, no cutting.
Fitment: 2.0T only, 2010-2012. Not listed for the 3.8 V6 or the 2013-on facelift. Worth it for track and drift use; a stock road car does not need it.
