Product details
Short ram intake for the facelift BK Genesis Coupe 3.8 GDI, supplied with a heat shield and a cover so the filter is not sitting in open engine bay air. Black powder-coated aluminium.
The shield is the part that matters here - a bare short ram on the 3.8 heat-soaks badly in traffic. With it you keep the shorter, straighter path and the sharper throttle response without giving all the intake temperature back.
Gains on a stock car are real but modest: a few kilowatts up top and a much stronger induction note under load. The 2010-2012 3.8 uses a different intake.
