Product details

Fidanza's HY3 aluminium flywheel for the earliest 2.7 V6 Tiburons (GK). Billet aluminium, about 9.5lb, with a hardened steel ring gear and a bolt-on, replaceable steel friction face. It replaces the factory dual-mass flywheel.

  • Fits V6 cars built up to the early-2003 change: 5-speeds built on or before March 2003, 6-speeds on or before January 2003
  • Anything built later takes the HY5 flywheel - most cars do, so check the build date on the door jamb or compliance plate before ordering

Quicker revs and easier rev-matching, no added power, and more gear rattle and clutch chatter than the dual-mass original. Some catalogues list this as '99-03 2.7L', but the 2.7 V6 only arrived with the GK. Not for the 2.0.
