Product details
A clutch-type rear limited-slip diff for the 2010-16 Genesis Coupe, 2.0T and 3.8 V6, all trims. It replaces the factory diff carrier; your ring gear transfers across.
- Type-MZ: a cone plate sets the initial torque, the highest in Cusco's range. It locks hard and early, with more chatter than the Type-RS. Lock is tuned by the clutch plate stack.
- 1.5-Way suits grip and road-course driving. 2-Way locks on and off throttle for drifting.
- Dual-profile pressure ring: either unit can be switched between 1.5-Way and 2-Way at a rebuild, no extra parts.
The MZ suits a dedicated drift or track car and costs less than the RS; on a street car the RS is easier to live with. Needs a diff shop to set up, LSD gear oil and periodic rebuilds.
