Product details
A one-piece CV driveshaft for the 2010-2012 Genesis Coupe 2.0T with the six-speed manual. It replaces the factory two-piece shaft, its centre hanger bearing and both rubber couplers, and bolts in with the supplied billet aluminium adapter plates and grade 12.9 hardware.
- Carbon Fibre - 3.25in tube, about 17 lb; the lighter option
- Aluminium - 4in tube; the cheaper option
- Both use 300M stubs in billet plates, are high-speed balanced and are rated by Driveshaft Shop to 1000+ hp
What it changes: less driveline slack, and no couplers or hanger bearing left to fail under hard launches. On a stock car the gain is mostly feel; it earns its price on a built car. Not for the automatic or the 3.8 V6. Driveshaft Shop lists it for 2009-2012 only, so it is not confirmed for the 2013-2014 2.0T.
