Product details
SP-series intake for the JS Veloster Turbo 1.6 T-GDi. A mandrel-bent aluminium tube with a heat shield, drawing air from the cooler side of the bay rather than straight off the engine.
- Mandrel-bent aluminium tube, polished or black
- Heat shield to keep the filter out of radiant heat
- Dry, washable filter - re-usable, no oiling
- Bolt-in, no cutting
The shielding is the reason to buy this over the short ram version. Intake temps on a small turbo engine climb fast in traffic, and the factory box is already fairly good at holding them down - the job of the SP is to match that while flowing better. Expect a modest gain, more once it is tuned.
