Product details
Progressive-rate lowering springs for the Czech-built i30 cw wagon, European type FDH, March 2009 to January 2012. They drop the car about 35mm at the front and 30mm at the rear, on the factory dampers.
Cold-coiled chrome-silicon wire, shot peened and powder coated. Sold as a set of four. Choose petrol (1.4, 1.6, 2.0) or diesel (1.6 or 2.0 CRDi); the rates differ with engine weight.
Check the build before you order. AST says these do not fit type FD. That covers the Korean-built i30cw sold new in Australia and the US Elantra Touring. A Czech-built car's VIN starts TMA; a Korean one starts KMH. They do not fit the hatch.
Expect a tidier stance and less roll, with a firmer ride when the wagon is loaded. Get a wheel alignment after fitting.
