Product details

H&R Sport Springs for the Hyundai X3 - sold in Australia and New Zealand as the Hyundai Excel (1994-2000) and in the US as the first-generation Accent. H&R lists it as "Accent X3 (1995-99)". Set of four progressive-rate springs, made in Germany from shot-peened, block-set 54SiCr6 spring steel.

  • Drop: about 36mm front and 33mm rear per H&R.
  • H&R lists no body or engine split for the X3.
  • Works with the factory dampers, but at this age they are likely finished. New struts with the springs make a far better job of it.
  • Alignment required after fitting.

Cheap, simple and effective on a light car: less roll, less arch gap. Does not fit the earlier X2 Excel (1989-1994), the 2000-2005 Accent (LC) or anything later.
